The BQ24070 and BQ24071 mark BRQ are compact, highly integrated Li-Ion linear charger and system power-path management ICs, designed for space-limited portable devices. These devices feature DC supply (AC adapter) power-path management, offering automatic source selection between adapter and battery inputs. Integrated power FETs, current sensors, and high-accuracy current and voltage regulation ensure efficient and reliable charging within a single monolithic design.

The BQ24070 Mark BRQ series allows the system to be powered directly from the adapter while independently charging the battery. This intelligent design minimizes battery charge–discharge cycles, ensures proper charge termination, and enables the system to operate even if the battery is deeply discharged or temporarily removed. By maintaining uninterrupted power flow from the adapter or battery, the BQ24070 and BQ24071 deliver stable and efficient system performance in portable electronics applications.
