It operates as a current-mode boost converter at 1MHz, with a wide input range of 6V–24V and a 2.5A internal switch. The IC maintains a stable 0.6V LED reference and includes auto-adjustment for voltage mismatches between strings. It also detects and isolates broken or unconnected LED strings, preventing overvoltage issues.
