It supports dynamic load distribution between system and battery, ensuring the laptop/device continues operating even when the adapter power is limited. With built-in current limiting, USB/adapter detection, and 4.2V battery regulation, this IC is ideal for compact power-bank, tablet, and laptop charging circuits. No external current-sense resistor required, enabling a smaller and efficient design.
