The RT6543A / RT6543AGQW Power Management IC is a high-efficiency synchronous buck controller designed for DC-DC step-down conversion in compact power systems. Unlike conventional current-mode PWMs, the RT6543A achieves high efficiency without requiring external current-sensing resistors, simplifying circuit design and reducing power loss.
This controller is capable of driving synchronous rectifier MOSFETs and supports diode emulation mode during light-load operation, minimizing power consumption and improving thermal efficiency.
