UP1728Q is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down (buck) power IC designed for portable and laptop-class power applications. It is manufactured by uPI Group Inc. and is widely used on notebook computer motherboards and compact power designs where stable, high-current point-of-load regulation is required.
This IC integrates both upper and lower MOSFETs, operates at a fixed 1.2 MHz switching frequency, and delivers up to 3.0A output current with excellent efficiency. Due to its compact WDFN 3×3-10L package, it is ideal for space-constrained SMT designs and professional motherboard repair.
